OP TAKE POST

Presented by the Royal Canadian Artillery Association, this short docu-style film captures OP TAKE POST - a commemorative journey bringing together 96 Canadian Armed Forces veterans and service members from the Artillery Regimental family to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands.

Through reflection and remembrance, the film honours the legacy of Canadian soldiers who travelled overseas to help liberate the Netherlands during the final year of the Second World War. By returning to the ground where they served and sacrificed, the film places their actions in real context and reflects the enduring gratitude of the Dutch people.
